A deadly crash in Clearwater is believed to be DUI related according to TBO.com and police investigators. While no ruling has been made yet, drunk driving seems to have played a role in an early morning crash that took the life of the passenger in the car.
According to reports a female driver was on U.S. 19 when she lost control of her car just before 2:00 a.m. Her male passenger died in the accident. Neither of the people in the car have been identified as of yet but their names are expected to be released later today.
