Drunk Driving Charges In Tavares Filed Against Wife Of City Mayor

A woman passed out behind the wheel of a running car turned out to be the wife of the mayor of Tavares, Florida and according to police she also turned out to be driving drunk. Sharon Nichols Wolfe was arrested and charged withleaving the scene of an accident and DUI after police found her passed out in her car in handicapped parking space outside of Florida Hospital Waterman.

According to reports, Wolfe crashed her Camaro into a speed limit sign and then took off. A witness called911 and that is when police located the woman passed out in the car some time after 5:00 a.m. Sunday. Police discovered a bottle of Kahlua and Bailey’s Irish Cream in the car. They also discovered Ambien in the vehicle. Wolfe had a blood alcohol level below the legal limit but allegedly told police she had combined the alcohol with the prescription drugs.

New Port Richey DUI Arrest Made After Citizens Box In Suspected Drunk Driver

An erratic driver on U.S. 19 was boxed in by a group of concerned citizens in Port Richey while they waited for the Florida Highway Patrol to arrive on the scene. When the FHP got to the car they found 26-year-old Sharon Dizon attempting to light a cigarette and struggling to get out of her car at the troopers request. After reportedly failing field sobriety tests, Dizon was arrested for DUI and resisting arrest without violence.

The incident started around midnight when driver’s observed a car allegedly driven by Dizon strike a median and become airborne. The car continued driving against traffic before pulling into a parking lot. The driver was confronted by citizens telling her they would call 911 and that she needed to turn her car off. That didn’t stop the driver from taking off once again. She was eventually boxed in by concerned citizens until police arrived.…

Spring Hill DUI Arrest At The McDonald’s Drive Thru Following St. Patty’s Celebration At Tampa Pub

A Spring Hill man wearing a wristband from an Irish Pub in Tampa was found by police passed out at the wheel of his truck at a McDonalds drive-thru early Thursday morning. Eric M. Spevack was arrested on drunk driving charges according to TampaBay.com after what appears to be a night of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day that he tried to finish off with a McDonalds’ meal.The restaurant manager called law enforcement after Spevack spent about 30 minutes next to the speaker box. When officers arrived they found the 25-year-old passed out with the car running and in drive. Spevak displayed signs of impairment according to officers who reported slurred speech and bloodshot, watery eyes. He allegedly failed field sobriety exercises and his blood-alcohol level registered 0.163 following breath tests. He was charged with DUI.

DUI And Marijuana Charges Filed Against Largo Elementary School TeacherAn art teacher at Southern Oak Elementary was eventually pulled over Wednesday for what sheriff’s deputies said were several traffic violations. Luann K. Fernandez did not stop when police originally tried to pull her over and according to TampaBay.com she sped up to elude arrest. She was eventually stopped when she pulled into her driveway and deputies caught up with her.
Once the woman exited her vehicle deputies asked her to perform field sobriety tests that she reportedly did and showed multiple signs of being under the influence. The woman asked if she could go inside her house and get a jacket at that point. Deputies reportedly were allowed to accompany her inside and that is when they found marijuana. She was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and fleeing to elude arrest.

Drunk Driving Doc Faces DUI Charges In New Port Richey

According to TBO.com Ramappa admitted to drinking three glasses of wine before he was pulled over. He allegedly told police that was about an hour before his stop. The 70-year-old doctor was released from the Land O’Lakes jail on his own recognizance. The stop took place around 2:00 a.m.
